TEACH Project Creating High Quality Teachers

CORPUS CHRISTI - Want to become a teacher? When can you start?

The TEACH Project focuses on preparing high quality teachers for work in high needs south Texas school districts through the Texas A&M University - Kingsville alternative certification program.

Those with a Bachelor's Degree and a minimum 2.6 GPA who are willing to work in a high needs partner district for 3 years are eligible to apply. Once accepted, students will complete 30 credit hours of University coursework, much of it online. This also includes 2 semesters in an internship, which is a full-time paid teaching position in a partner school district.
