CORPUS CHRISTI -- It may not feel like December just yet but it began to smell a little more like Christmas today.
It's not only the holiday season but it's tamale season.
Now, if you're interested in impressing your family with more than just the store bought kind...but don't know how to cook tamales, it's okay.
The Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department's Cultural Services offered a class today on how to cook them.
For $8 people learned recipes, participated in demonstrations, and ate samples.
Sandra Vasquez said, "Well, it's not Christmas without tamales."
