CORPUS CHRISTI - A couple of 18-year-olds were arrested last night on charges of evading arrest, possession of marijuana, and graffiti last night after a homeowner told police the teens were tagging his fence on Franklin Drive.

An officer sent to the area tried to talk to two teens who saw walking on Mansheim, but the men fled on foot in different directions.

Police tell us Jeremy Ybarra dropped a sweatshirt and two cans of spray paint before he was caught. Another officer found Michael Lopez hiding in someone's front yard.

Officers checking the area for graffiti located at least 12 victims of the tagging spree. Police say they found several more cans of spray paint and a small amount of marijuana while searching Ybarra's car.

A search of Lopez's home also turned up more spray paint cans, a small amount of marijuana, and two city street signs. He's facing a charge of theft for the street signs.
