Taft Teacher Found in Motel Room With Student

Taft Teacher Found With Student At Motel - KZTV

SINTON - Authorities in Sinton are conducting an investigation this afternoon at a local motel. Officials say they were tipped off by a Taft teacher to check out room 126 at the Best Western along U.S. 77. Inside they found a Taft ISD teacher and a student.

Officers were seen putting on latex gloves as they entered the room and started placing evidence markers inside..

One vehicle parked near that hotel room has not moved since the investigation started. We checked state records to find the vehicle belongs to an official with the Taft Independent School District.

We've not been told if anyone is in custody as part of the investigation.
