Taft Murder Suspect Turns Himself In

Zapata Surrenders on Murder Charge in Taft - KZTV

TAFT - A Taft man wanted for murder is now in jail. Police say 29-year old Eddie Zapata Junior turned himself in Tuesday night. He is facing murder charges.

Zapata is accused of stabbing 25-year-old Ezequiel Flores in the chest with a large kitchen knife during a fight Saturday night at a home in Taft.

Investigators say no bond has been set for Zapata because he is still waiting to see the judge.
