Taft H.S. Band Director Resigns

CORPUS CHRISTI - Taft High School Band Director Roy Hinojosa resigned from the district today. Yesterday afternoon police spent several hours at a hotel in Sinton where a taft school employee was found with an underage girl.
Police won't confirm the identity of the man in the motel room, but Hinojosa's gold Dodge Charger was parked near the room. Sinton police are still investigating the incident.
Taft school officials sent out a news release late Wednesday stating the Hinojosa was on administrative leave for "possible questionable activities."
