SAN DIEGO - About $2,000 worth of synthetic marijuana was found during a traffic stop in San Diego overnight.
Police pulled over 29-year-old Rudy Ramirez Jr and 26-year-old Erica Martin during a routine traffic stop last night on Highway 44.
Officers found 190 grams of synthetic marijuana and over $1,000 in cash in their car. Photos from police show the items were in the back seat of the car in plastic shopping bags.
Ramirez and Martin are charged with possession and attempt to deliver.
The products once sold in stores were made illegal last year by the federal government and the State of Texas.
