ROBSTOWN - The Robstown Police Department is asking for help finding a man who purchased $990 worth of diesel fuel using a stolen debit card on September 21st.

The surveillance video from the Shell station on Highway 77 in Robstown contains somewhat blurry images of the suspect. He appears to be a 6 foot tall heavyset white male with dark hair and a full beard. He was wearing blue jeans, boots and a ballcap at the time.

He gave the clerk a pre-paid debit card and asked for the diesel pump to be turned on. The man filled up a large orange tank in the bed of his older model Ford F-150 and left.

It turns out the card was stolen and there wasn't any money in an account to back it up anyway. Police are trying to determine who the man is, plus how he got a hold of the card.

If you have any information on this crime, call the Robstown Police Department at 361-387-3531.
