Suspect Ditches Damaged Car in Driveway, Leaves Gun Behind

Police Search For Man Who Fled Crash Scene - KZTV

CORPUS CHRISTI - Officers are searching the area of Lantana and Hampshire for a suspect who crashed a car and bailed out after ditching the vehicle in someone's driveway.

It's believed the suspect may be armed and dangerous as he left behind a gun in the car. The weapon was reported stolen out of Houston.

The Department of Public Safety helicopter assisted in the search, but after an hour the man has not been found. Police have only said the man is wearing a white shirt, khaki pants and black shoes.
