CORPUS CHRISTI - It was cold, cloudy, and damp today over most of the Coastal Bend as afternoon highs all struggled to get out of the 40s today.
Tonight, temperatures will all fall in the 30s for most of South Texas, but wind-chill values will fall into the mid to upper 20s to lower 30s as the night progresses. Winds will be a bit moderate, especially along the coastline, around 10-20mph with clouds beginning to move out late Wednesday morning.
Monday, as the clouds begin to taper off, will be fantastic with sunshine returning area-wide and temperatures warming up slightly as well into the 50's and lower 60s. Winds will remain elevated at 10-20mph and gradually diminish the further into the evening we get, but will still make for temperatures to feel a bit chilly. Jackets and sweaters are likely still a good idea for the kids headed to school.
The rest of the week looks great with most of the region recuperating back into the mid to upper 60s as far as temperatures with mostly sunny skies. Clouds will begin to increase late Saturday and especially by Monday ahead of another system that will cool us off to the 50s for the start of the next work week.
