CORPUS CHRISTI - Thanks to the cold front that moved through the Coastal Bend a few short days ago that brought the reinforcing shot of some cooler temperatures, we will continue to see very nice conditions for today as high pressure remains in control of the region.
This afternoon, look for mainly sunny skies with a few high clouds overhead and temperatures reaching the upper 70s to lower 80s. Winds will be a bit breezy in the afternoon, but not overly bad, out of the east-southeast around 10-20mph.
Tonight, a few more clouds return overnight and temperatures will slowly creep back up into the 60s after seeing a night or two of 40s and 50s.
A warming trend with the winds slowly picking back up to normal South Texas standards will commence for the next several days into the start of the next work week. Another cold front looks to arrive late Wednesday night and into Thursday morning that will bring us our next shot of some rainfall and another dose of cooler temperatures. Once the front moves passed, the chances of rain will move out as well.
Have a great weekend!
