CORPUS CHRISTI - A relatively cool start for everyone in the Coastal Bend as temperatures have dropped into the upper 50's to mid 60's area-wide early Wednesday morning.
Today looks to be fantastic with mostly sunny skies and the winds will finally transition out of the southeast again off the Gulf of Mexico, versus the dry northerly flow we've had over the past several days. The winds will become moderate this afternoon around 10-20 miles per hour and will allow temperatures to get pretty warm to hot with highs reaching the upper 80's to lower 90's.
Tonight, expect another mostly clear night & pleasant conditions with overnight lows picking up into the lower 70's due to the winds out of the southeast at 6-12 miles per hour.
Another cold front is on the way for the weekend late Saturday and into Sunday and is quite strong. Temperatures will struggle to get out of the 70's Sunday afternoon with a breezy northerly wind. At this point, it looks to pass the area as a dry front, but there is a possibility to see an isolated thunderstorm as it moves through.
Have a great Wednesday!
