CORPUS CHRISTI- Hazy hot and humid conditions will prevail all week ahead of the first significant cold front of the season arriving this Saturday. A weak disturbance will cause a few showers in the area on Wednesday and then a few thundershowers expected with frontal passage Saturday afternoon thru early Sunday. Temperatures will drop to the lowest levels in over 5 months Sunday night and early Monday effectively bring an end to our 2013 hurricane season!
Tonight will be very warm and sticky with a few coastal showers developing after midnight and a low of 77.
Wednesday expect variable sunshine with isolated thundershowers still hot and humid with a high of 93.
More sun with sweltering heat on Thursday and a high of 94 with a heat index of 105.
Temperatures will drop into the 50's over much of the area late Sunday night.
Jerry in the Atlantic is no threat working northward into colder waters.
