CORPUS CHRISTI- Dry high pressure has take over the area and our brief but beautiful fall weather is over as low level humidity and temperatures are now on the increase. The high on Monday was 92 and above normal after starting in the mid 60's. Low pressure developing in the Plains states will increase our winds and return the overnight lows from almost cool and comfortable to very warm and sticky by the end of the week. A few showers will begin to develop ahead of an approaching cold front this weekend. The front probably will not move thru until early next week.
Tonight will be mainly clear and comfortable but not quite as cool with a low near 70.
Tuesday and Wednesday will be sunny dry and hot like summer with light winds and highs both days of 95.
The tropics continue to be unusually quiet with no activity.
