CORPUS CHRISTI - Our hot and dry pattern will continue to deliver all the way through the weekend as a dry high pressure remains firmly in control at least for the next few days. Some changes begin to arrive early next week as rainfall, associated with an upper level disturbance, moves into South Texas and deliver some badly needed rainfall.
Today we will hold on to a bit more cloud coverage, but still very hot outside as afternoon highs go back into the mid to upper 90s and even a few locations reaching the triple digits. Winds: SE 10-20
Tonight will be seasonal, but muggy, as overnight lows fall into the mid to upper 70s.
We will have to watch that upper level low early next week as scattered rainfall begins to move in from our east. Big rain totals are not expected, but a few tenths over the course of next week looks good on average for the area.
Have a great weekend!
