CORPUS CHRISTI - Congressman Blake Farenthold's sister is trouble with the law again. Sue Farenthold was arrested Wednesday when methamphetamine was found during a urine test.
That's a violation of her release on bond for drug possession charges. A grand jury indicted her on the charge Thursday.
Back in July 2012, Ms. Farenthold was involved in a police raid at her home on Cape Romaine. U.S. Marshals and the Corpus Christi Police Department came to her home after receiving tips about drugs and weapons inside. The SWAT team used tear gas to force everyone out of the house.
Police arrested Sue Farenthold, Michael Wayne, Jesus Juarez, and Johnny Reynolds, on charges of possession of a controlled substance. At the time, police said they found methamphetamine, a couple of guns and some ammunition inside the house.
