NEW JERSEY - Subway sandwich lovers across the country are upset over an inch. An inch of the sandwich shop's footlong sub that they say is missing.
Class action lawsuits filed across the country claim the footlong is only 11-inches and that customers are being charged for an inch of sub they never get.
The lawsuits say customers are owed a refund for the portion of the sandwich they did not receive.
The suits also allege that the six inch subs come up short too.
Subway has declined to comment on the lawsuit, but a spokesman say the restaurant chain has quote:"Redoubled efforts to ensure consistency and correct length in every sandwich we serve."
