Students Injured When School Bus Flips Over

MISSOURI - Nearly two dozen students were injured yesterday in Northeast Missouri in a school bus accident.

The accident occurred along a highway in Lewis County, some 125 miles Northwest of St. Louis.

Officials say the bus driver ran off the road, over corrected, and then drove into a ditch and flipped over.

Medics rushed to the scene to assist the injured students.

Five students suffered serious injuries.

Officials say most of students suffered minor injuries.

The cause of the crash is unknown.

An investigation is underway.
