CORPUS CHRISTI - A few showers and thunderstorms have developed way out ahead of a cold front that will arrive around midday today.
The front will bring very windy conditions out of the north around 20-30mph with higher gusts around 40 possible this afternoon with highs only reaching the middle to upper 70s prior to the fronts arrival. Storms will move out of the area once the front passes with overrunning/ partly cloudy skies
Tonight, gradual clearing will be taking place with a few
high clouds streaming overhead with dramatically cooler temperatures dropping into the upper 40's to lower 50s nearing record lows. Wind chills could approach the upper 30s with winds howling at 20-30mph overnight.
Another chilly night in store Saturday morning that will yet again approach record low levels with highs in the 70s both Friday and Saturday with plenty of sunshine. We warm up by the start of next week.
