Strong winds will rake the area again today. A few streamer showers off of the Gulf will bring a few sprinkles for us. Look for partly cloudy and humid with winds peaking at 35 mph.
An area of low pressure in Northern Mexico is triggering strong storms along the border. Heavy thundershowers have stalled in the Laredo area. They have had over 4 inches of rain overnight with flooding expected today. High 95. Tonight, mostly cloudy and muggy. Low of 76.
For the weekend, less rain chance. Hot and very humid. High heat index at 103 to 105.
The area of low pressure in northern Mexico should start to drift northeast and should destabilize our atmosphere for the chance of scattered showers early next week. Let's hope.
