CORPUS CHRISTI - A teen accused of stealing a drink from a convenience store now faces a robbery charge.
The clerk from the store on Carroll Lane told officers 17-year old Preston Felts took a soda and walked out without paying for it.
When the clerk followed him outside, Felts allegedly punched the clerk several times.
Officers spotted Felts at a nearby apartment but he ran inside and refused to come out. Police eventually got into the apartment, but also got into a struggle with the suspect.
Felts is accused of robbery, evading arrest, resisting arrest and assault on a public servant.
