CORPUS CHRISTI -- People packed the stadium today at Whataburger Field, not for a baseball game, but to listen to worship music.

Spiritfest -- the largest family friendly festival in South Texas -- is in its first year here in Corpus Christi.

It showcases a full day of music on two stages.

You could enjoy the sounds of Grammy nominated artists such as Mercy Me, Jeremy Camp and david Crowder.

There are also other activities such as rides and carnival games.

It's quite the event and something that concert-goers say they're happy to experience.

Taylor Wiggins said, "It's overwhelming, I love it, and just this opportunity in Corpus is amazing. There's a lot of people here."
