Special Olympics Bowling Tournament

CORPUS CHRISTI -- Today was the 29th annual bowling competition put on by the Special Olympics at Saratoga Lanes Bowling Alley.

Since Thursday, 641 athletes participated in the event this year making 41 teams.

Event coordinators say the program is growing more and more each year making them that more appreciative to their volunteers.

The bowling groups were categorized into singles, those who used ramps and unified teams of special as well as non-special needs competitors.
