ROBSTOWN -- Kids out in Robstown got a hands-on look at several careers they might try when they get older.
It's for this year's iDiscovery Safari.
Kids were off like a shot at the first ever iDiscovery Safari in Robstown this morning.
The fair is aimed at teaching kids about the future and the jobs they might choose whether it's in the field of robotics or primate dentistry.
These kids have the whole world ahead of them and why wait to prepare for it?
Organizer Janet Cunningham said, "We have parents, children and community members who are learning about careers and the education that students need, that pathway that they need to follow for those careers."
The fair was free to the public and featured hands on demonstrations which organizers say is important to inspire youngsters to greatness.
Cunningham said, "Every child needs to dream about the job that they would like to have someday. To have that career and to be thinking about what they need to do to obtain that career."
If you missed it today, don't worry, it will be back this time, next year.
