CORPUS CHRISTI - Corpus Christi police are on the hunt for two in a violent armed robbery on the southside Monday night.
It happened at the Little Caesar's on the 3800 block of Saratoga just after 10:30 p.m.
The cashier told police she had just closed for the night and was counting the money when she heard a crashing sound.
Three men had apparently thrown something through the front glass window and smashed their way inside.
The cashier says one was armed with a handgun, the other two appeared to have machetes. They demanded the money and took off running with about $1,000.
An officer on the way spotted a suspicious looking may in a nearby parking lot and arrested him.
The cashier identified him as one of the robbers, the other two are still at large.
All three face aggravated robbery charges.
The woman wasn't hurt.
