SEOUL -- South Korea and the United States continued their annual military drills today despite repeated North Korean threats of outright war.

The 11 day U.S./South Korean joint military drills started on Monday and involve 10,000 South Korean and about 3,000 U.S. troops.

Today South Korean soldiers practiced their military readiness, firing self-propelled rocket shells.
