Someone Steals $8,000 Worth of Stuff From Salvation Army

CORPUS CHRISTI - Police are looking for someone who stole $8,000 worth of goods from the Salvation Army Thrift Store on S.P.I.D. near Everhart.

It happened early Sunday morning behind the thrift store where they keep the donated vehicles.

Surveillance video shows a dark truck pulling one of the Salvation Army's trucks away.

Police say that same person came back later that night and hauled away a boat and a trailer.

The Salvation Army admits the area back there is completely open, and since they were closed Sunday, the vehicles were pretty easy to access.

They say they're trying to build a fence to make that back parking lot more secure.
