CORPUS CHRISTI- We had sauna-like heat today with less wind but lots of haze and smoke and a high of 90. The light winds won't last long and will be steadily increasing over the holiday weekend. Here are the details.
Our pressure gradient has relaxed due to a dissipating front and we are finally seeing a huge break in our winds today before becoming breezy again Friday thru Sunday and then windy again next week. Except for a stray shower there is no significant rain in the forecast. Temperatures will stay at or slightly above normal over the next 7 days.
Tonight will be mainly clear quiet and sticky with a more seasonal low of 75.
Thursday expect considerable sunshine light winds continued hazy hot and humid with a high of 92.
Friday will be breezy but not bad with lots of afternoon sunshine a stray shower and a high near 90.
