(CORPUS CHRISTI) - Flu season is officially in full swing in South Texas and there's already a shortage of Tamiflu, the only medicine to treat the virus.
Only a handful of pharmacies still have it on hand. We ran into this problem last year, but it was much later in the flu season.
We called dozens of pharmacies around town; only three had the anti-viral medication in stock.
The Nueces County Health Department has confirmed at least 550 cases of the flu.
