Shootout Suspect Out of Hospital

CORPUS CHRISTI - A carjacking suspect who was wounded during a shootout with police last week is now out of the hospital.

Brian Allen Robles, 30, was transferred to the City Detention Center yesterday afternoon, exactly one week after he was involved in that shootout.

Police say he carjacked several vehicles in Corpus Christi, then led officers on a chase that ended near Portland. He's accused of opening fire at Corpus Christi and Portland police officers as they tried to arrest him.
Four of the officers who had been chasing Robles, opened fire and wounded him.

He's charged with Attempted Capital Murder, Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Burglary, and Evading Arrest.
