CORPUS CHRISTI - A Corpus Christi woman is speaking out after she was nearly killed in her home last week.
Crystal Bautista says her husband, Adam shot her three times after returning home from the bar last Thursday. Bautista was hit once in her neck and twice in her stomach. Despite her injuries, she's expected to make a full recovery and plans on being released from the hospital in the next day or two. The 31-year-old wants other women to learn from her experience.
"If you see little changes, even if you never have before, you need to quit that person. Something will happen, and you will not be as lucky as I was."
According to Bautista, her two daughters, eleven and twelve years old were in the home when the shooting happened. She says they're doing fine and come to visit her everyday. Once she's back on her feet she says she'll get her own place and begin a new life for herself and her girls.
