Sheriff Testing if Synthetic Marijuana Linked to Blame for Teen's Death

TAFT - An 18-year old is dead after a possible overdose on synthetic marijuana. The victim and his brother were found outside their home on Mary Street in Taft Thursday night.

Both were rushed to the hospital where the 18-year old later died. Police say his brother remains in critical condition. Their names haven't been released.

The San Patricio County Sheriff's Office is now investigating, and the substance the teens were using will be tested to determine if it was synthetic marijuana or something else.
