SINTON - San Patricio County Sheriff Leroy Moody remains in intensive care after suffering a possible heart attack on Saturday. Sheriff Moody was doing some yard work when he started having some trouble breathing, or a shortness of breath.
He was taken to Christus Spohn Shoreline where he's still being treated.
According to his office, Sheriff Moody wants everyone to know he's not on life support as was erroneously reported while he was watching the news Saturday night.
His family is waiting for lab results from his doctor to find out what happened.
For the time being, Chief Deputy Oscar Rivera is in charge over at the Sheriff's Office.
