Severe Storm Hit Freer With Large Hail

FREER- The National Weather Service reports a quarter to golf ball sized hail hit just north of Freer and piled up on the ground up to 3 inches high.

The Freer Fire Department reports roof damage to home and business in Freer. Several tin sheds damaged as well as powerlines down. Power out in the city.

Additional reports from the public of roofs blown off barns, windows broken, and fences blown down. A trampoline and swing set are missing.
