CORPUS CHRISTI- Upper level high pressure will not relinquish its hold on South Texas anytime soon. In spite of a very weak and unusual cold front dissipating over north central Texas this weekend only a stray shower is expected. There will be less wind on Saturday and more wind for Sunday and the first half of next week.
Tropical storm Dorian in the Atlantic continues to weaken due to encountering strong upper level winds and very dry air at the mid levels being pulled into the system. There is no threat here!
Saturday expect more sunshine less wind breezy humid and hotter with a high of 99 and a heat index of 110.
Saturday night will be tranquil with fair skies and a low of 77.
Sunday expect noticeably move wind hazy humid and sweltering heat with a high of 98 and a heat index between 106 and 112.
Stay cool and enjoy your weekend.
