CALIFORNIA - A ride at Seaworld San Diego stalled Sunday, stranding 48 passengers for several hours.
Officials say 46 visitors and two park employees were on the Skytower when a power failure halted the revolving, climbing capsule and left everyone about 320 feet in the air.
After four hours power was finally restored, and the ride slowly descended.
No major injuries were reported. However, one 17-year old was treated at a local hospital for anxiety.
The cause of the power failure is under investigation.
Seaworld officials say none of the passengers were ever in danger, and that the two park employees on the ride provided guests with water and snacks during the incident.
