CORPUS CHRISTI - Temperatures remained under control yesterday afternoon as most area locations were spared of triple digit readings with the exception of Robstown. With South Texas being wedged between to big upper level systems to our west and east, our weather pattern will not budge much this week.
Today we will start with a few morning showers, nothing too significant, which will lead to afternoon sunshine and temperatures in the middle to upper 90s. Winds: NE/ESE 5-15mph
Tonight will be tranquil and almost cool with overnight record lows challenged as we fall into the mid to lower 70s thanks to dry air and light winds.
The Fourth of July looks fantastic for outdoor activities with highs in the middle 90s and sunny skies. We'll begin to cloud up and get back into our more tropical environment as we head into the weekend and a weak tropical wave begins to throw a little moisture in our direction.
