BRYAN - Police say a janitor at a Central Texas elementary school has been charged with trying to fondle several female students while hugging them.
Brazos County jail records show 58-year-old Juan Jose Ledezma of Bryan was being held Tuesday on three counts of indecency with a child by sexual contact. Jail records do not list an attorney for Ledezma, whose bond is $105,000.
Bryan police on Monday announced investigators in May received allegations that Ledezma, while working at Neal Elementary School, inappropriately touched several girls while giving them hugs.
Ledezma, who was arrested Friday, resigned from the Bryan Independent School District shortly after the investigation began.
Further details weren't immediately released by police.
