CORPUS CHRISTI - The Corpus Christi Independent School Board is scheduled to hear an update Monday during its meeting on policies connected to the recent fatal ant-bite incident at Haas Middle School.
Middle school student Cameron Espinoza died last week after he was bitten by ants and suffered a severe allergic reaction during a middle school football game.
The Superintendent will update the board to district policies and procedures related to the incident.
There will also be discussion to hire an outside agency to look at the incident and provide ideas into improving response into critical care.
