CORPUS CHRISTI - After many delays, Schlitterbahn is still not complete.
The park was originally supposed to open on June 21st for the first day of summer, but that didn't happen. Since then, promised several dates have come and gone.
The co-owner of Schlitterbahn Jeff Henry says two pools at the park are open to the public and are hoping to open a bigger section next weekend.
He says the reason for the delays is that the plans kept changing. "Rivers went from 2400 ft to 8000 ft. Everything is bigger there's more. The main building has massive restaurants in it. There's an amphitheatre now that wasn't there before. There's just a bunch of stuff. It's a much bigger, much better product than what we had originally designed to go here."
Henry says he hopes to make it the biggest park in Texas.
