CORPUS CHRISTI- We had a big increase in instability today resulting in scattered sea breeze showers as the "dry high" backed slightly away from the area. Tropical moisture moisture will continue to reside over the area and combined with daytime heating and the afternoon sea breeze produce more isolated to scattered showers for the area. Unfortunately this pattern is more likely to produce rain inland than along the cast and here in the city.
Tonight will be tranquil with a low of 75 under fair skies.
Tuesday and Wednesday expect variable sunshine very hot and humid with only a stray sea breeze shower and a highs both days of 99. The heat index tops out at 105.
It gets wetter again late thursday into monday of next week as rich tropical moisture returns to the area.
