CONNECTICUT -- People across Connecticut will pause and remember the 26 people who died in the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre, exactly one week ago today.
Governor Dannel Malloy declared today to be a day of mourning in the state.
He asks that everyone statewide participate for a moment of silence at 9:30 this morning.
The governor is also asking for all houses of worship to ring their bells 26 times during the moment of silence in honor of the 20 students and 6 teachers killed.
