CORPUS CHRISTI - A 17-year-old sits in jail for allegedly vandalizing a billboard on Crosstown and Horne Road.

But police believe Joshua Andrew Sanchez is responsible for several other high profile taggings across the city.

Sanchez was picked yesterday at a home on Niagra Street in Corpus Christi. At the same time, officers arrested 18-year-old Marcus G. Garcia on an outstanding warrant for assault.

Investigators say Sanchez and another unidentified suspect may be responsible for graffiti left all over buildings from the Port of Corpus Christi area to the southside of town.

In those instances, as in the billboard tagging, the suspects hit an area above ground level with large graffiti.
