SAN PATRICIO COUNTY - Starting next month, the San Patricio Health Department will no longer offer women's health and family planning services.
Since May of last year, the clinics in Ingleside and Sinton have served nearly 1,000 women, but due to lack of funding, the county decided to stop offering those services.
Nurse Practicioner Donna McMahan explains the response from client, "They're upset, you know, that they're not gonna be able to come back and get the services that they've been provided in the past."
The county says patients still have options. The same services are offered by the South Texas Family Planning offices in Sinton and Rockport.
