SAN DIEGO, Texas - Possible changes to medic services in San Diego are causing some tension there. The city says it's financially strapped and looking for ways to cut costs in the department.
Workers and concerned residents packed in to last night's city council meeting. An item on the agenda used the word "eliminate" next to the EMS department.
But city leaders say they're simply exploring ways to lower expenses, not to get rid of those services.
No decisions were made about the future of the department last night. The issue could come up again at next month's council meeting.
