LIVE OAK COUNTY - The rain we got today caused a headache for folks at an RV park up in George West. That's because the Frio River runs along the edge of the park continues to rise and the folks who live there are getting ready to evacuate.
They were already looking at problems with higher river waters coming all the rain that fell near Carrizo Springs and ran off right into the river.
Come this weekend the RV park could be under water. The people who live there tell us the river is usually about ten feet high, but they say it's risen at least five or six feet in the past couple days.
They're worried that if the water gets any higher the RV park might flood. Local officials estimate the river could get as high as 40 feet by Sunday.
The park flooded a few years back when water levels reached just 25 feet.
