CORPUS CHRISTI - Salvage efforts are still on hold for the offshore oil rig supply vessel that ran aground off San Jose Island near Port Aransas yesterday.
Officials say seas were too rough to attempt to refloat the vessel.
The US Coast Guard is working with state and local agencies move the ship in the safest manner possible without causing excess stress on the environment or risking a leak of 8,000 gallons of fuel and 110 gallons of lube oil.
The 4-man crew is still aboard the ship.
