Rockport Police Officer Arrested, Charged With Felony

ROCKPORT -- A Rockport Police officer was arrested earlier this month after what authorities said was a "domestic relationship," incident.

Officer Michael J. Frye, 52, is charged with retaliation, a third-degree felony. According to the police report, Frye was arrested Dec. 1, a day after the incident on E. Concho St.

Frye, who is a ten-year-veteran of the Rockport Police Department, has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of an internal investigation, according to a statement from Lt. Larry Sinclair.
