HOUSTON (AP) - Houston Rockets general manager Daryl Morey made no more moves on Thursday after reshaping the roster with two deals the previous night.
The Rockets traded forward Patrick Patterson, center Cole Aldrich and backup point guard Toney Douglas to Sacramento for rookie big man Thomas Robinson and forwards Francisco Garcia and Tyler Honeycutt. Houston also dealt forward Marcus Morris to Phoenix for the Suns' second-round draft pick this summer.
The Rockets currently hold the No. 8 spot in the Western Conference, and Morey says the moves shouldn't jeopardize Houston's chances of making the postseason. The biggest prize of the deals for the Rockets was the 6-foot-10 Robinson, the fifth overall pick in last year's draft. The biggest loss for Houston was Patterson, its starting forward and fourth-leading scorer.
