ROBSTOWN -- The Nueces County Sheriff's Department had a busy night that ended in a shooting.
Witnesses say the call started as a family disturbance when the victim got into an argument with some family after a night of drinking.
They said things escalated quickly, and the man shot himself. He is expected to survive as the bullet reportedly just grazed his head.
Halo Flight picked up the man at the fairgrounds in Robstown and transferred him to Spohn Memorial Hospital in Corpus Christi.
